Thanks For Nothing, USPS

Fresh when it gets here from Julie Barrett

This is the second time USPS has messed up on holding my mail. Generally, they've been pretty good on holding mail. Unfortunately, both screw-ups happened when I was expecting something important.

The first time they held the mail but delivered a package, which vanished from the doorstep. This time, the mail was never held. We came home last night to what was clearly three or four separate mail deliveries in the box. We were supposed to have all of the held mail returned today in the box. It usually comes wrapped in a rubber band with a copy of the hold request. Today we just had a couple of small pieces of junk mail. I skipped out on lunch with Paul and Chris for this.

I hope there weren't any royalty checks. We checked on the main item we were expecting, but had no notification that it has been shipped yet. So I hope we dodged a bullet on that one.
