Monday Mumblings Gets A Hardware Upgrade

So yes, the hard drive cloning software worked. I now have more drive space. The computer is not running much faster, though. Sigh.

And yesterday was not much of a day of rest. More like a day of not breathing. Some of you may have noticed there are wildfires burning in Texas, and the fires are in enough places that the prevailing winds generally bring the smoke this way. Lovely.

I ended up taking a breathing treatment before I went to bed last night, which may have been a wrong move. It's hard to tell. Do I wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air and then maybe get to sleep after two or three hours, or lay awake for the same amount of time in hopes of an uninterrupted night of sleep? I went for the latter. I did wake up at 6, but got back to sleep after a quick trip down the hall. Asthma issues mean I drink more fluids, which lead to other inevitable consequences. I can't win. I chose breathing, and I think that was the right thing to do.

Taxes got sent off Thursday night, and within half an hour we had confirmation and an ETA on our refund. Joy!

I have some more things to blog about today, but I think I'll break them up under separate topics.
