I'm a blogging fool this afternoon, aren't I?
This is the first time in days I've felt worth a crap, if you'll pardon the language. I was up early, even though I was sure I wouldn't be able to sleep again last night. I had some very good news last night, and while it's something I'm not allowed to share yet, I will say that it's very exciting. There were many squeeful noises here last night.
Chris and I went to coffee this morning and in walked C. and B. Hadn't seen them in ages. We spent about two hours catching up and chatting. C. has lost some serious weight (under the supervision of her doctor) and looks really good.
Speaking of weight, I've lost four pounds this week, which is encouraging.
Beyond that, it was bargain Friday. I don't know what it is about blue jeans, but they all seem to wear out at once. I found a great deal at Kohl's today - $44 jeans for $19. Also picked up a couple of shirts with real short sleeves instead of those teeny so-called sleeves. It was all less than the original price of the jeans, so I'm happy.
Went grocery shopping and had a buy one, get TWO free coupon for petite sirloin steaks. I ended up with three main dishes for $11. Found some other food on sale and got out for about $20 or so less than I usually manage on a weekend, so that was nice.
Went outside and took a few flower pictures. One will be for tomorrow's Round Robin Photo Shoot, which is composed but won't publish until after midnight. Here are a couple of apricot blossom pics:
