Q: What's the difference between shopping for a used car and having a root canal?
A: The dentist gives you drugs.
We are in the market for a good, inexpensive used car for the kid. Yeah, good and inexpensive don't always go together. We have a budget and we're going to try very hard to stick to it. We knew we were in trouble when we took a wrong turn here:

Fate is a little town just outside of Rockwall, which is east of Dallas.
We saw lots of cars, got told many tall tales by car dealers, and finally gave up for the day.
Really, I think the root canal would have been preferable.
But not my much.
