Last night I finally broke down and got a new UPS backup for my computer. I don't need something to keep the thing going for hours, but at this time of the year we have lots of power glitches. We had two yesterday and one this morning. The UPS keeps the computer from going down during those events. It's bad enough when I wake up to find that my computer has been pushed several updates and has rebooted. Power glitches are just frustrating. The maxim "save early, save often" has saved my hide plenty of times, but still...
This danged stomach bug continues to linger. I had a bout overnight. I think part of it is my diet. I'm planning to start South Beach (at my doctor's suggestion) in earnest next week, but the last couple of weeks I've been eating more along the lines of the diet. I'm eating more lean red meat at my doctor's suggestion, but having been off of the stuff for a year I think my digestive system is having a fit. Maybe I should go back off the stuff until I get over the crud, eh?
Well, it's off for the usual Friday stuff. Feline Friday is next. Have a good weekend.
