How often do you blog? Do you try to maintain a schedule, or just blog when you're inspired and have the time? How do memes affect your blogging habits?

I would love to blog every weekday, but that doesn't always work out. Sometimes I post several entries in a day, and sometimes I go several days between posts.

Memes? Well, you see how sketchy I've been at this one.

What it boils down to is the more I have to do, the less time I have to blog. That may be a good thing. Or not, depending on what I have to do. This is one of my busier times of the year, and some days I sit down at the computer, and the next thing I know, it's 3:30. Where has the day gone?

Extra Credit: Are you blogging more or less often now than you were a year ago?

Probably about the same, though I'm spending more time on Twitter and at one of the blogs at a local newspaper. I spend a little time on Facebook, but I just can't let myself get sucked in over there, or I'd get nothing done. I'm taking advantage of some tools to auto post to - and get notifications from - certain social media sites, and that's a bit help. I don't have to obsessively check something when I have notifications on*. Of course, all those sites rae great for procrastinating, and I tend to do more of that than I really should.

*Anyone know of a good tool for obsessively checking Amazon rankings? Not that they mean anything, but you know....

I hardly ever look at Twitter now, relying on some feed tool to post my Blogger entries to Twitter, which in turn posts to Facebook. There are a few people I'd like to pay attention to on Twitter, but my days just aren't long enough for two time-sucking social media sites at once!
