This week's assignment is to photograph some magazines.

I just happened to have these in the office, so here ya go:

These are UK editions of SF magazines Astounding is from 1952, and Analog is ten years later. I love the cover art on both of them. Both very telling of the age.

The Astounding cover is fabulous! Many years ago I had access to a stack of old sf magazines and pulps - I think the original publication of What Mad Universe my have been in there somewhere, although as I recall there were no particular treasure otherwise. I think Bob Earl picked them up at auction and we sold them at a convention. That was over 30 years ago.

UK copies. Wow. I remember trying to get UK copies of magazines when I was younger. The cover art was so much better as you can see.
