Julie's Web Journal: Round Robin Photo Challenge

The current Round Robin challenge is Railroads, and was suggested by Gina of Gina's Space.

This is a detail from an old electric railway train that is on display in downtown Plano. The interurban line used to run from downtown Dallas to points north, but was dismantled as the automobile became commonplace. A few years ago the old rail line was torn up and replaced with a light rail line that now carries commuter trains to downtown Dallas - and the trains are packed during weekday rush hours. Now if I could just find a place to park, I'd take the train!

What an interesting approach! I thought of taking a closeup of some part of the old locomotive downtown today, but I didn't actually do it, I don't think. It's interesting to see the "stripped" appearance of that one large bolt or whatever-it-is!

This picture is very special ! I take the train sometimes especially when I have to go to Brussels. It takes me 20 min if I would take the car it could take me an hour because of the traffic !
