Well. It's been a long day, but a very interesting one. About a year ago I mentioned doing some research for a possible project. I also said that these things take time. Well today I found out that the project is going to happen and I am to contribute something to it. Much rejoicing. I'll have more as things shape up.

Wrapped up the last bit o' work before Christmas and then took off to downtown Plano with the intention of shooting Christmas lights. It was a bit disappointing on that score. I guess the high electricity prices have taken their toll on the city displays. Even the big tree in the park downtown was only lighted halfway up. I'd like to think that there was a problem with the string of bulbs. I'd hate to think the city is THAT cheap.

I had better luck with the area around the DART station:
