Getting older sucks.

In spite of my doctor's best assurances, I just haven't bounced back from this surgery as quickly as I expected. I suppose it didn't help me to do a massive amount of housework on Thursday afternoon, but since the A/C company felt compelled to come do the fall check-up on Friday, I thought it best that they have a clean path to the closet. No, it wasn't that bad, but between Fencon and the surgery housework took a back seat. At the very least I needed to dust and vacuum.

I am getting tired of taking it easy, though. If I'm up to it, I'm joining the coffee group for a trip to the Arboretum tomorrow. It will be a great opportunity to take pictures. My cunning plan is to grab a ride with someone who needs to be home by early afternoon, thereby forcing me to keep the stay short.

I finally managed to activate my Zooomr Pro account today. I'd run into some apparent scripting error, but they've got it fixed. Of course, I have to be up to taking pictures now so I'll have something to post!

Honestly, I did try to take it easy on the physical front this weekend. I did manage to get most of my stuff from Fencon cleared from the desk and got a start on a new database project. Of course, none of that was really physical activity.

Of course, I did take time out to watch the ball game. It's always a good thing when your team wins, but I was also glad that the whole Terrell Owens mess didn't overshadow the game. I see that the DPD has now reclassified the case as an accidental overdose. Is it no surprise that T.O. made the Whine of the Week?.

Hopefully I'll have a picture to post in a bit. First I have to actually shoot something! This is also Fall Break, so blogging may be on a bit of a sporadic schedule. Enjoy your week.
