Auntie Em! Uncle Henry!

Fresh when it gets here from Julie Barrett

Well, the sky got dark, the clouds tried to swirl, and we got a few drops of rain! Our forecast calls for rain through Tuesday, which will be welcome if we actually get the stuff. We start stage 3 water restrictions on Monday, which means that we can only water the yard one day a week. Most of our yard plantings are native, so I don't think that'll be much of a problem. The containers on the patio can still be hand watered as needed.

But you came here looking for pictures:

Clouds

Shortly after I took that last one, the wind whipped up and snapped a branch off of that tree. I'm sure people must have thought I was nuts, standing out in the wind shooting pictures!
