Greetings From Hard Drive Hell!

That ought to be a tacky post card.

I'm in the process of upgrading to a larger hard drive. My data is fine, but my system got to the point where it wasn't running very well and Photoshop would complain like a helicopter parent whose kid had been put in timeout every time I tried to edit a large file.

I checked the status of my drive, and discovered that it was low on space - almost critically low. Not a good thing.

There was nothing for it but to migrate everything to a bigger drive. Or course, that's easier said than done, and I've spent the entire day waling and gnashing my teeth and rending garments (good thing I'm wearing old clothes today). If I thought killing a chicken would help...no, that's too messy.

If I manage to finish tonight, tomorrow will be a Day Of Rest.

Famous last words.
