I've been in a bit of a hovering mode today, waiting on things to happen. I was waiting on the go-ahead to do one thing, and a long-promised communication from someone else so I could finish off some other items.
Got the go-ahead this morning and did what I was supposed to do, only there was a bit of a snag with part of it. Probably a server issue, so at this point I have no choice but to wait it out. Parties have been notified.
On the second, well, it'll happen when it happens. I think events have sort of overtaken some of the people involved.
Oh, well.
I drove across town to Borders this morning. I am still on my quest for an interesting pair of reading glasses, and remembered seeing some there a couple of weeks ago. They weren't quite what I was looking for. I want something that's a bit different, but I don't want bling or rhinestones or animal prints or any of that stuff. It's not me. I probably just need to stop whining and pull something off the rack. Most of the interesting ones are $50+, and I'm not putting out that kind of money.
I did pick up a couple of books, so it wasn't a lost trip.
Ah, the second thing just happened. Out of hover mode. Except it wasn't quite what I was expecting to see. This could be interesting...
