Not a lot to say today. My cunning plan was to put the cold that I managed to wake up with back to bed, but that didn't work. No voice this morning. No fun at all.
I really didn't get moving until very late this morning, but once I did I couldn't stop. I thought it would be nice to put the new sheets and comforter on the bed, but it seemed a good idea to wash it all first, so I did. I had to remove the mattress to put the bedskirt in place. Then I decided, oh, what the heck: I'm already this far, I may as well pull the bed apart and REALLY clean.
That probably wasn't a good idea, considering the fact that I was fighting a cold. On the other hand, I got rid of a lot of dust which should be a good thing when all is said and done.
The new sheets are on and they don't look too bad. They don't look much like the picture on the package, but is that a surprise? The package was clear plastic, but it was impossible to actually see the sheets. I suppose I could have unzipped it and pulled out everything to look at the sheets, but I hate coming across packages that have been opened and picked through. Half the time something is missing. So I just took a chance.
Oh, well. It was a good price for just the comforter, so I shouldn't complain. At any rate, it's nice to have something new on the bed. I think I'm going to go read and nurse my cold. On a Friday night. I'm such an old fuddy-duddy. Oh, well. I'm reading a good book.
