Catching Up

Fresh when it gets here from Julie Barrett

The current cunning plan is to step away from the comptuer and do some other things. You know how THAT always turns out. I'll post an April Challenge shot, of course, but I simply have a desperate need to be somewhere else, even if it's cleaning elsewhere in the house. Yep, that's desperate, isn't it?

I had planned a couple of hours of doing nothing yesterday afternoon, but it didn't work out.

One thing I need to do is figure out how to make the newish DVD recorder in the living room work properly. This means I have to watch the last segment of the final epsiode of Prime Suspect. Again. Twist my arm.

I woke up at 4:00 this morning when the storm hit. Sleep afterward was peppered with odd dreams. Always the way it goes. When my friends all have dreams of being in a TV show or movie, they're making out with the leading man (or woman), or playing the hero(ine). I'm cleaning up after sick people or doing otherwise mundane stuff. I'm sure a shrink would have a field day with that one!

Just had an IM conversation with Chris. He's in Austin with the school choir. Sounds as though he's had a grand time. He said the spent yesterday evening downtown. Went to Fádo for dinner last night and then just walked around a while. They're on their own for a while before the drive back today.

I'm glad he got away. Now it's my turn to step away from the computer. Before I go, here's one for the Dr Who fans - The April 1 "leaked" copy of Partners in Crime:

If you're having trouble with the embeded video, you can view it here.

Have fun. I'm going to try to do the same.

Thanks for posting that. I had not seen it. Did you like Partners in Crime? They toned down Donna a lot. I still don't like her, but at least she is not an overbearing cow (like Runaway bride).
