Monday Mumblings

Fresh when it gets here from Julie Barrett
Monday, April 7, 2008

In my usual Monday stupor, which is odd because I slept better than usual - at least until 4:30 when Midnight delivered her gift. Sleep after that was peppered with odd dreams, no doubt influenced by the Jim Butcher novel I'm reading.

Woke up this morning to find an acknowledgement of my e-mail to HP and an invitation to take another damn survey. If there's one thing I dislike about HP's web site, it's their constant badgering to take one survey or another. When I go somewhere for support, I'm generally trying to fix a problem. The last thing I want to do is drop my train of thought and fill out a long form consisting of questions that have nothing to do with why I'm there. I'll provide feedback when I feel I have something useful (positive, negative, concrit, whatever) to offer.

I have a large pile o' papers to scan. Better get cracking.

Of course. Once I hit the button to post, I got a more personalized message from HP regarding my e-mail thanking me for my kind comments. Glad to know my message didn't get lost in an autoresponder.
