Entropy Ain't What it Used to Be

Fresh when it gets here from Julie Barrett

Sounds like something Yogi Berra might have said, doesn't it?

I'm going to give Trevor Carpenter's April Challenge a shot. (Pun intended.) I'd like to see how I can stretch myself without my DSLR, at least for the time being.

The challenge topic is entropy. Hey, that pretty much describes my house! In fact, that's probably where I'll confine myself for now - the house and its environs. Not only do I have an aging dwelling, but it is home to a number of antiques. I figure there's plenty around here to keep me occupied.

Here's a couple from the archinves:

This shot was deliberately distressed. Honestly, the window isn't this dirty or scratched or ugly.

This is natural entropy, shot a couple of years ago in the woods not far from where I live. Why haven't I been there for the 2008 Challenge? Patience, padawan. I'm waiting on the ground to dry out and the pollen level to drop just a bit.

So there ya go. My challenge will be to see if I can do this every day!
