Yes, you know what that means. Darned cat. Again. Leaving the evidence right where I wouldn't miss it with my bare feet.

Is it asking too much to get some sleep around here? I stayed up late last night and read on Popcorn until I was drifting off to sleep, which meant that I didn't get to bed until about 12:30.

Honestly, it's as much about the quality of sleep as the quantity. The requisite eight hours doesn't do much good if I'm waking up every hour or two, but six or seven hours of solid sleep is pure bliss. This is all I ask.

As promised, I am getting out of the house in just a bit. I have to take Chris to school. His car is sitting (we hope) in the college parking lot with a busted serpentine belt. Fortunately, it's a $20 part. My car doesn't have a parking permit, so I'll give him a ride. At least this is a day when classes start at 10:00. If I had to get up at dark thirty to get him there before 7:00 I'd have really been cranky.

Off for a little shopping - mostly necessities, but who knows what I'll find?
