Too early for this

7:20 AM and I hear the sound of a small airplane taxi down our street.

A glance out the window shows that no, the city is mowing the median. At seven freaking twenty in the morning.

I'll bet the kid slept right through it. Normally he's up by that time of the morning but we have TAKS testing the rest of the week and seniors who have passed their tests don't have to show up until 12:15.

It's a little after 8:00 as I write this and I am trying to wake the kid. Better go rattle the door again.
