I'm off to the polling place in a few minutes. Since it's at the elementary school down the street, I will probably walk. I could use the exercise.

Then it's back to the NaNo grind. I'm over 9,000 words, and I'd really like to hit at least 12K today. We'll see what happens. Tearing the manuscript apart turned out to have been a good idea. I found a hook that I can use to drive the story forward. Much rejoicing!

I've got other stuff to do today (besides voting): We have our first read-through tonight for our upcoming show, so I need to do a little prep work for that.

Next post: I'll be playing catch-up in the picture department. We had some interesting fog this morning, and a very cool sunset on Friday. The sunset was stuck on the network drive for a couple of days. Oops.
