Tonight's bowling on Chemo Brain:

137-148-159=144.

I had a 155 average going in. Won't be surprised if I drop it a pin.

Between the neuropathy and the sticky approaches, I'm okay with it. The approaches were sticky due to the humidity. They had the ceiling fans on high to help. It could have been worse. I know because it has been.

Other than that, the pictures project has been continuing apace. Today's job was moving most of the filled binders into a mostly empty desk armoire that we have in the living room. We cleared it out back when we got the carpet. We're using the open shelves for display, but the ones under the pull-out desk and behind the folding door were mostly empty. So, that's where the binders and a couple of boxes of photos went. That gives me some room to store the empty binders and some of the binder sheets I'm using to file the photos and negatives.

I did have a bit of a panic when I went to find a box of photos that my cousin had sent me back in 2019. Spent a lot of time looking for it today - emptying boxes, finding a bunch of papers to recycle, etc. I concluded they must be in a Very Safe Place(TM).

This afternoon I finally remembered where they are, and that Chemo Brain is not responsible. Back in 2019 I scanned in all those photos the cousin had sent, and then I went to my sister's place and also grabbed a bunch of photos, which I sorted and scanned. I now recall there was enough room for me to consolidate those photos with that box my cousin had sent. This means my sister has most of the photos for the line for the West line (my maiden name) and I have the Smith (my mother's maiden name) line here.

This works for me! But just to be safe, I had my sister put a note on those boxes that the photos from our cousin are there, because Chemo Brain will forget!

Since my photo organization/database system was built to deal with Chemo Brain and photos scattered in a few different places, I can tackle those once I finish all the photos I have here. We also have the bulk of the Barrett photos.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel on the Smith photos, and I am pleased to report it is not an oncoming train! The remaining photos are all sorted in a portable expanding file folder beside my desk chair. Okay, there are a couple of stacks on my desk, but they were pulled form the file folder. I had planned to tackle those today, but all my organizing took it out of me and I wanted the energy to bowl.

I may finish this by Friday. That would be good. We shall see!
