What I did do:
Water the patio plants and change the water in the fountain. That was about ten minutes of work. Not hard at all.
The hard part was inventing the Candy-Gram. No, wait: that was Sheriff Bart. I decided to make a stab at the craft room. I got a few things put away, set aside some for donation, and trashed some trash.
Hiding under a pile of stuff were our table skirts that I'd made years ago. We have a five-foot and a four-foot folding table, which we use in our radio shows on occasion. I have no idea why I'd put them in the craft room. I think I was fitting the four-foot one on a folding table I'd never used it on, but that was 10 months ago, so who knows?
Anyway, I washed 'em, put 'em in some cheap vacuum bags, labeled 'em, and stuck 'em on a shelf. Yes, I know the bags will expand. The cheap ones do. I happened to have some in the closest, and they will keep the dust out, which is more to the point, because they're now in the storage space in our garage.
This job is going to take some time, and I'm okay with that. It gives me time to think about how to do things. Usually when I go in and attack that space I'm on a deadline and things get shoved everywhere so I have a space to work. Now is the time to do it right, if I can.
I have enough spoons left for a grocery run. I have plenty I can do at the desk for the rest of the afternoon, if I feel up to it. I'm not going to push it.
Tomorrow's job may be some organization around the desk area. I have some containers on the way to replace the mish-mash of storage in one area. Chemo Brain will deal better with a nice, matching set of storage with proper labels. So will Whatever Passes for Normal Brain whenever that time comes. Also, the price was right - always a consideration.
