Blogging will be sporadic over the next couple of weeks.
First up is the prep for Fencon.
Next is surgery. Without going into all the gory details, let me just say that I'm gonna be fine. It's a pre-cancerous condition and the consensus is to get it outta there now rather than wait. It's a short procedure and then I rest up for a couple of days.
To be honest, I have been rather upset over this whole thing, even thogh the doc repeatedly assures me it's not a big deal. I'm happy that I have plenty to keep me busy right now so I don't have to think about it.
This afternoon I discovered that the insurance will cover the procedure 100%, so that's a relief. Now I just have to go through the pre-op stuff. If they do a chest X-Ray I had better remember to have the tech note that I have some pneumonia scarring in one lung. Last year, someone over-read an X-Ray and that led to more tests. You'd think the people who read X-Rays would know what pneumonia scarring looks like. Yeesh.
So that's the story. Thanks for the GT's. I'll be fine.
