Cold and hot

Fall is finally thinking about making an appearance. A cold front swept through last night and we had temperatures in the 50s for most of the day with a stiff north wind. It was almost too cool for my denim jacket, but I don't think it's worth it to haul out the heavy coat - yet.

One of my neighbors is having a yard sale. I have nothing against yard sales. I love 'em. But I absolutely hate it when people block the alley. What makes it worse is that this house is on the corner so there's plenty of parking. But no, some special people have to park in the alley. I suppose it's just too difficult to walk those extra few feet down the street.

I wish that I could say that I've even had time for pictures today, but it's been all sewing, all the time. I was supposed to go get the front end of the car aligned today, but I guess I should make that extra money while I have the opportunity, eh?

My fingers ache.

yep, when the opportunity to make money stares you in the face, you have to choose making money over things like, ohhhhhh house work etc lol
