Something Had to Happen

This wonderful bit of Art Deco sheet music is from the 1933 Broadway musical Roberta. Roberta is probably best known for launching the career of Bob Hope (check out a piece of sheet music with his picture in our collection). In 1935, Roberta went to the silver screen in an RKO musical starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
