More pics

Before I retire for the night, here are two more pictures for the Casio Pix page.

´Tis the season

Or whatever. Seriously, have a good holiday. I´ve still got work to do, but hey, I´m grateful for the paycheck. ;-) I´ve spent the rest of the time chilling out, and scanning in some old family negatives my mom gave me. I´d totally forgotten that my dad had visited the ´62 World´s Fair in Seattle while he was in town on business. Sadly, the negs aren´t in the best of shape. Hopefully the scans will preserve what´s left.

At last!

I´ve finally gotten around to posting a few pictures from the Casio Exilim. If you don´t like them, blame the photographer, not the camera. ;-)

Oh, my

I´ve been told that my pages are too boring because of all the white space. Actually, I´ve decided to try a more minimalist approach. Give it some time. Once it grows on you, I´ll be ready to try something else! ;-)

I´m finally starting on the pictures from the Casio Exilim. If I´m very lucky I´ll have something out here before the day is over.

More toys

Hey, three posts in one day!

Last weekeend my husband insisted (yeah, twist my arm!) that I replace my cell phone. So now I have a Samsung N400, and have spent most of the weekend playing with it. Well, most of the weekend between bouts of moaning about how I felt, that is.

The N400 is a nifty little phone. I say "little," because I´ve always manged to be at least one model behind on the phone tech curve. I´m hoping to get the camera attachment, soon. Yes, as if I didn´t have enough cameras. Now that I´ve figured out how to get some ringtones and wallpers on, maybe I can get rid of that "chickens" ring!

Yeah, yeah...

I´ve been under the weather again, but now I seem to be improving, thanks to my doctor.

Hey, AMS!

I´ve been told that I should send a shout out to Chris´ friends. If you have any site comments or suggestions, use the e-mail link.

Oh, yeah...

Don´t gripe about the state of the fanfic pages. I do need to "purty" them up a bit...

Life. Don´t talk to me about life.

Here we go again. I promise to be a good girl and keep up with the journal, and then I go away and hide under a rock...or something like that.

Once again, Life gets in the way. I´ve spent part of the last month trying to break a block by going back to one part of my writing roots and doing some fan fiction. I won´t claim the stuff is exciting, or even good, but it feels good to write again.

And yep, I do need to post some Exilim photos, don´t I?

What a week!

Yeah, yeah. I should write something every day, even if it´s incrediby dull and boring. But would you read if it´s dull and boring?

The other day I had the worst asthma attack I´d had in a long time. I think it was related to the whole sewage backup thing of earlier in the week. Now that I´m starting to breathe again, I hope to get out and shoot some more pics with the camera. I´ve not been happy with many of the pictures I´ve shot with the Exilim so far. I don´t blame it on the camera, but rather that most of the pictures were taken during my morning walks. I didn´t stop to think that all that huffing and puffing (did I say I was in shape?) would make it difficult to keep the camera steady. Silly me.

Having said that, I still love this camera.

Clean clothes!

Along with everything else that happened over the weekend, our washing machine died. To be fair, it was 18 years old and had been repaired several times. When the pump goes out on a machine that age, it´s time for a new one. It arrived this morning, and I´ve been doing laundry ever since.

The student in Colleyville ended up getting a day in the alternative school. This after neighborhood protests and his parents requested a hearing to appeal the punishment. I´m glad that someone at the school district appears to have some common sense.

Is the ozone hole shrinking?
