#queryfail is a group of agents discussing their worst queries, in 140 characters or less.
A couple of the words I've seen to describe this are "mesmerizing" and "addictive." This is so true, but it's also very educational.
And, of course, someone's started a #querywin.
Is it wrong of me to love the #queryfail for the snark?
I did learn some good stuff today. While not sleeping last night I had a revelation about stalled novel #1 and decided to tear the ms apart and start from scratch. I killed a ton of backstory, but I still think I may have too much. Just thought of a way to take care of that (kill it! Doh!), but the lack of sleep is now encroaching. I'm going to go take a nap.
