The cats were playing near the patio door the other afternoon. Abby was crawling around on the perch and Midnight was having a blat rolling around on the throw rug. A bird called from a tree outdoors and the play came to a screeching halt as they went about the serious business of trying to locate a snack. The bird was quite relieved, I'm sure, that they were not successful.
