Bowling With Chemo Brain

Tonight's bowling was a real mixed bag. On a 155 average:

113-220-149=482

The lanes were a challenge tonight. In the first game, only one person out of both teams hit their average. The second game for me was clean, meaning I left no open frames! It was also 65 pins over my average, and I think that means an award! I haven't bowled that much over my average in a single game in years. The last game was unremarkable except for the fact that I did manage to eek out my average on the night. Yep, that was in doubt, even with a 220!

Small update on yesterday's post: My technical problem was partly Windows 11 and partly my laptop. The cutting machine software is actually two programs: one for design and then a utility to send the design to the cutting machine. Turns out the design software now supports Windows 11, but the utility doesn't. But of course. I went to try it in compatibility mode and discovered that laptop was scrogged. I think I'll be able to get it going, but it's going to take some work. Maybe I can do that while I get bits of my desk area in shape, assuming I have the energy. I'm often wiped out on Thursdays. But not always! We shall see.
